S.T.E.A.M. Art in Science Camp is the perfect blend of creativity, discovery, and hands-on learning! Join the Artesia Arts Council June 16–19, 2026, for four exciting days where art and science come together through engaging projects, experiments, and creative exploration.

Campers will investigate the wonders of the natural world while creating unique works of art inspired by science, technology, engineering, art, and math. From exploring rocks and minerals to conducting fun experiments and building creative projects, participants will discover how imagination and innovation work hand in hand.

Designed for young learners and budding scientists alike, this camp encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and creative expression in a fun and supportive environment.

Camp Sessions:

Performing Arts Camp

Discover the joy of movement, creativity, and performance at Shannonogon's Performance Arts Camp! Designed for ages 10 and up (adults welcome!), this exciting week-long camp introduces participants to the fundamentals of flow arts, stage presence, and creative movement in a fun and supportive environment.

Campers will explore a variety of performance disciplines including dragon staff, hula hoops, silk fans, lollipop lyra, and bungee dance while building confidence, coordination, and self-expression. Whether you're brand new to performance arts or looking to develop new skills, this camp offers an engaging experience for all ability levels.

Classes take place Tuesday through Friday from 1:00 PM–5:00 PM, culminating in a special public performance on Saturday, July 4 at Jaycee Park, where participants will have the opportunity to showcase what they've learned.

This collection explores the relationship between portraiture and environment—capturing personality, presence, and the subtle narratives found within both people and place. Through expressive detail and thoughtful composition, Kiemle invites viewers to consider how identity and surroundings shape one another.

Alex Velluto- Stand Up Comedy

Alex Velluto is quickly making a name for himself in comedy, recently featured on Nate Bargatze’s stand-up series, ‘The Showcase,’ where he was handpicked by Bargatze himself.


He stands alone as the only comedian to have performed in three Dry Bar Comedy specials, including his latest, ‘The Big Gulp Kid,’ now available on YouTube.
His specials have earned him millions of online views and thousands of fans, including a follow from the official 7-Eleven Instagram account. Alex and 7-Eleven have since become best friends.


Alex’s talents have taken him to the iconic Grand Ole Opry, a venue known for showcasing the best in entertainment.
